Jess 
Labrador Cross

"We commissioned Susie to make a bronze 2/3 life size sculpture of our Labradoodle called Jess. From commissioning to delivery took a few months. It included agreeing the size and favoured pose, providing photographs, visits to see the work (and give feedback) as it progressed (from the initial maquettes through to the final stage prior to casting) and finally deciding the final colouring of the bronze.

 

The whole process was very inclusive.​On delivery we could not believe how beautiful and lifelike our new Jess looked; we were stunned. Being proud owners of two of Susie’s delightful works (we also bought a ceramic Hare)  we can unreservedly commend her to other potential commissioners."
