Horse Bronze Commission

Private commission of a family horse.

Bailey had passed a few years earlier so I worked on this  portrait from a series of photos that the family gave me to use as my guide.

 

The clients frequently visited the art studio to check the progress of the commission. On completion the  clay sculpture was sent to a foundry and cast into bronze.

​

The final bronze outcome was patinated in a warm verdigris colour and the head was mounted on Welsh slate.
