About Susie
Trained in Fine Art at Canterbury College of Art, Susie has spent over 30 years developing her artistic practice while sharing her skills through drawing classes in her private studio in Lewes.
After a successful career as a Sixth Form Art and Design teacher, she now focuses on creating ceramic sculptures that capture the essence of the human form. Her work is celebrated for its rich textures, intricate patterns, and vibrant glazes, influenced in part by her time creating props at Glyndebourne Opera House in the 1990s.
Susie's sculptures have attracted collectors and art enthusiasts both nationally and internationally, and have been exhibited at venues including the Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden, Atherton Green Art, and Select Gallery in London.
Alongside exhibiting her work, she continues to contribute to the arts through teaching, commissions, and community engagement.
