Starting the new year in January can be hard for many people, but I've managed to find my focus within the autumn/spring greens.
The twists and turns of the growing natural forms inspired me to work in a delicate, naturalistic, loose way within my ceramic composition and textures.
I've thoroughly enjoyed the change in style and working with what nature has to offer. It's allowed me to be distracted by the shorts day and really appreciate what is available during what daylight hours we have. I was deeply inspired by the structures of the twists and turns.
I encourage you this spring to explore your natural habitat. Maybe on a daily walk to work or walking you dog, maybe at a garden centre like I did too to get extra inspo. There are so many resources around us, let our eyes do the exploring and our hands create.
